Be sure that you will see many beautiful places on the second and last day in Istanbul. Today, you will visit the Anatolian side of Istanbul. Üsküdar, of course, has songs written on its name and contains many historical monuments on its borders. If you have not had breakfast, you can have your breakfast with the view of the Maiden’s Tower with the bagel and tea. You have two options after Üsküdar. You can spend the rest of the day right in the city life in Kadıköy, you can also go to the Islands for a calm and colorful stroll. Let’s start with the Islands first. We recommend Buyukada:

You are in Buyukada after a ferry journey lasting about 1 hour. Rent a bike now and get ready to go to Aya Yorgi Church. After half the road, you will have to get off the bike and start climbing, but make sure this is worth the effort as you get down. After reaching the hill, enjoy the view and sit down and have a nice meal. When you feel ready, you can go down the hill and continue exploring the island with a bicycle. Take the ferry for the return, but don’t forget to photograph Istanbul during the trip. You can even buy a bagel and feed the seagulls before boarding the ferry.

If you prefer Kadıköy instead of Adalar, get off the ferry and join directly into the bazaar. Here you will see another very colorful and vibrant face of Istanbul. Start by visiting Güneşlibahçe Street, where there is a fish market.

Then turn your way towards Moda. You will see a lot of small cafes while walking on Moda Street. The exceptions are very small flavors, but a great option. You can take a short break here. Then keep walking towards the beach. You will see people sitting under the trees chatting, making music and reading books. You can spend at least 1-2 hours here. There are many, many options in Kadıköy for dinner. If we go from favorites, Beppe Pizza is one of the places that make the best pizzas of the world, not only here. In the bazaar, Ekspress İnegöl Meatball is a classic Kadıköy.
